Academics and Courses:

The Institution is affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi which offers a very innovative and dynamic CBCS academic system that allows students to choose from a whole range of elective subjects. The Institution offers a number of add-on courses and Executive Certification Programmes in various subjects.

Faculty:

The Institution has 60 highly qualified faculty members of great competence and vast work-experience in academics and research. Faculty Development Programmes, Seminars and Conferences are regularly conducted to update and enhance teaching skills and methods

Environment friendly:

GGSESTC, Engineering and Management College, Bokaro lies in one of the most industrialized zones of the nation. Therefore, environment protection assumes greater importance. The Institution is committed to environment protection and conservation. The Institution acknowledges its social responsibility and undertakes various projects to fulfill the same. The Institution maintains a pollution-free, green campus with gymnasium and sports facilities as well as residential facilities for students and staff. It also provides mess facilities. The Institution regularly undertakes tree-plantation programmes. The Institution maintains 60 KV solar power installations for power back-up at its campus.

Social Responsibility:

The Institution’s buildings and campus is inclusively designed to provide universal mobility. There are ramps reaching every floor of the building, elevators, wheel- chairs, washrooms and lavatories especially designed to suit the needs of the differently abled persons.

The Institution is a participant of ‘Unnat Bharat Abhiyan’ and it has adopted the following local villages for development programmes – Jala, Dumarjor, Pathria, Telo and Saharjori.
It also supports NGO ‘Samarpan ek nayi pahal’ for education of poor and needy students.

During the pandemic Covid-19 times, the Institution provided its hostel premises for quarantine facilities to the local civic administration. At the time of ‘Yaas’ cyclone, the institution gave its hostel premises to the local civic administration for providing shelter to the displaced people if the need arise. The Institution has been pro-actively running awareness programmes regarding Covid-19 pandemic in and around the local villages. The Institution also organized a Covid-19 (above 18 years) vaccination camp on 4th July, 2021 is association with ESL, Vedanta and local authorities.

Placement:

In summer of 2021, more than 150 students of the Institution successfully found job-placements in industries and public sector.
